Want to free people shackles of oppression: Tahir ul Qadiri

LAHORE, (NNI): Chief of Idara Minhajul Quraan Dr Allama Tahir ul Qadiri said that he would free people of Pakistan from the brackets of landlords and feudal lords. He added that they would go ahead for the sake of country and rendered sacrifices for the country.


Addressing to a public gathering of millions of people including women, children and aged people at Minar e Pakistan on Sunday he said that he will resist Army from the front if it tries to topple any democratic system. He said that they would defend Pakistan and its Constitution.


He said, “We all take oath that we all are equal in Pakistan, every poor and rich person has equal rights in Pakistan, we will do politics of principles instead of interest.” He said, we rejects the politics that spreads insurgency, unemployment, inflation, illiteracy and corrupt system in the country.


Paying tribute to Pakistani nation, he said that today’s historic gathering has proved and answered whether 180 million people of Pakistan want to save politics or state. He said that his agenda was to correct elections, not to postpone the general election.


“If you want change, I am also here to bring the change,” he said, added that “restful lives and floral stages cannot bring change, but sacrifices have given to bring change. We will change the system through a peaceful movement.”


Dr Qadri specially thanked MQM chief Altaf Hussain to send a 50-member delegation, led by Farooq Sattar, at Minar e Pakistan. He also paid thanks to renowned nuclear scientist Dr Abdul Qadeer Khan saying he had to attend today’s rally, but he had already committed another ceremony. NNI
