Credibility of the Pakistani media

I have been following for quite some time the Pakistani media, the way the journalists work and to see if the scrutinising processes such as those in the Western media are employed in the Pakistani media. But, to my surprise it was not. The basic essence of fact check is not implemented, and therefore anything any journalist writes is null and void. I can give numerous examples from the top of my head, but i decided to refrain from this, as this would discredit the newspapers, news networks and journalists. But, on a sombre note, there have been many instances where there has been fine investigative journalism, uncovering corruption and illegitimacy, which have led to significant national changes in the country. But, I have written this small piece in order for the world to understand, do not take everything written in the Pakistani media as "fact" or "fact checked", there is a lot of hidden agenda (most of the media is owned by extremely rich, powerful and politically powerful people) and many lies woven within articles.
