‘Pakistan government’s mandate has ended; 2 million peaceful protestors are ready for change!’

For immediate release: 14/01/13 - 6:00pm GMT

Official statement from the organisers confirms there are around 2 million demonstrators in Islamabad at the moment. Furthermore, there are 2 million more en route to Islamabad on foot from all over the country, due to government officials having taken away their vehicles, blocked highways and closed fuel stations.
Dr Qadri has told the demonstrators to break through the containers blockading Parliament House Building and walk there peacefully – “without throwing a single stone or breaking a single window” - to form the ‘People’s Parliament of Pakistan’: “There, [in front of Parliament] the People will make the decisions and not the corrupt ex-politicians”.
Declaring them as ‘ex-President’ and ‘ex-Prime Minister’ respectively, Dr Qadri has announced that the mandates of Asif Ali Zardari and Raja Pervez Ashraf have ended, and has demanded them to “dissolve all the assemblies”. And, “at 11am tomorrow (Pakistan Time) the political decisions will be made by the people, once the remaining millions reach the city”.
